Dave's parents are visiting this weekend & we decided to take them to one of our fav local places "Rio"...It is a great area to walk and shop, plus Little David loves to feed the ducks (really geese) and usually manages to get his daddy to buy him ice cream. We ate at one of our fav Mexican restaurants "Rio Grande Cafe" and fed the ducks Cheerios but left without icecream b/c we were trying to beat the approaching storm...

The river cafe looks like a nice place. I totally know what you mean about bailing at the "sing-a-long" Those crazy moms can be a handfull. There is a chick-fil-a around here that I refuse to go to because of that same thing.
That place looks like a lot of fun. It reminds me of Historic Smithville (by the jersey shore), even the lake pics, I would swear it was the same place. Have you ever been there?
I haven't been to Smithville, but Dave often passed it on the way to work & he would always say "We should go there some time"... We never did but if it is similar I bet we'd really enjoy it.
